Step by step to remove your semi-permanent varnish at home:
File the semi-permanent varnish
File the surface of your gel manicure that you wish to remove.
Insert your finger into the removal pads
Tear off the remover pad and insert your finger, making sure the cotton is on top of the nail. The acetone from the cotton will penetrate the gel.
Wrap the pads around the finger
Wrap the package around your finger, removing the sticker and sealing the package to ensure an airtight fit.
Secure it with removal clips
To prevent air from entering, use removal clips on the removal pads. Wait 15 minutes.
Remove the pads and cracked polish
After 15 minutes, remove the clips and pads. The gel polish will now have a shattered effect. You can use a cuticle stick to gently slide off the remaining polish.
Clean off the remaining polish
Use degreasing wipes to remove the remaining polish.
Voila! Your semi-permanent manicure has been removed. Finish this process by moisturizing your hands and nails with nail care and hand creams.
